Meaningful Worship

At YLJC, worship matters. It’s a way to connect to ourselves, to G!d, and to each other. Grounded in tradition, we encourage creativity to beautify our communal gathering. We are singers, poets, chefs, embroiderers, and explorers. Learn some of our most loved melodies here (LINK -resources, tunes), participate in our current monthly celebratory challenge here, or join a class to develop your spiritual leadership here.

All are welcome to join our joyful services, held both in person and on Zoom. We can sometimes be found praying in a cafe, by the river, in the park, or at the home of one of our lovely members. We follow the Liberal tradition, with men and women participating on an equal basis and prayers in English and Hebrew, transliterations provided. Services tend to include a lot of singing, often some poetry, and excellent vegan muffins.
