We hold regular family-friendly, Jewish services in the liberal tradition at York’s Friends Meeting House, Friargate, YO1 9RL http://www.quaker.org.uk/friargate.

Saturday Morning Services are normally held on third Saturday of every month at 11am and are proceeded by Cheder for 5-13 year olds.

Friday Evening Services are normally held on the first Friday of every month at 6.30pm (see below for next dates) at Busk Coffee Shop, YO10 4BA   https://www.facebook.com/BuskCoffeeYork

In addition, we aim to hold irregular services in satellite communities around Yorkshire and the North East from time to time.   These include Durham, Scarborough and Hexham.   If you would like to know more about such plans – or indeed offer to host such a service yourself – please email info@jewsinyork.org.uk.

Wednesday 9th October 11am-7pm, Yom Kippur, Friargate Quaker Meeting House, led by Rabbi Rachel Benjamin.  Services throughout the day starting at 11am, with Family service at approx 4pm and Yizkor at approx 5.15pm (names for inclusion in this service to chair@jewsinyork.org.uk by 5th October please).  Services will conclude around 7pm.   Please email if you need somewhere to break fast.

Sunday 13th October 3pm, Sukkot, Friargate Quaker Meeting House.  Join us to build our Sukkah on the meeting house terrace followed by a very short service in the sukkah and tea and cakes.  A family affair.
