Please do contact us now if you would like tickets for our High Holy Day services. Tickets are free to members and friends, as well as students and members of other progressive synagogues throughout the UK. Others can purchase tickets for £50 each or can join the community now to benefit from a free ticket.

Sunday 29th September 6-7.30pm, Erev Rosh Hashannah, Our annual New Year Seder at Clement’s Hall led by Rabbi Rachel Benjamin
Monday 30th September 11am, Rosh Hashannah, Friargate Quaker Meeting House, led by Rabbi Rachel Benjamin
Friday 4th October, 6.30pm, , Shabbat Erev Service, Busk Coffee Shop on Sandringham St, YO10 4BA, Community-led – arrive from 6pm for a coffee, a cake and a chat, led by community members Sam Borin and Ruth Morris
Tuesday 8th October, 7pm, Kol Nidre, Friargate Quaker Meeting House, led by Rabbi Rachel Benjamin
Wednesday 9th October 11am-7pm, Yom Kippur, Friargate Quaker Meeting House, led by Rabbi Rachel Benjamin. Services throughout the day approximately as follows:
11am Creative morning service
12.30pm Study session
2pm Choice of riverside walk with Rabbi Benjamin or Additional Service led by community members in the meeting house
4pm Family Service including reading of Jonah
5.15pm Yizkor (Memorial Service) – names for inclusion in this service to firstname.lastname@example.org by 5th October please.
6pm Concluding Service
7pm Break fast
A break-out room for children ,staffed by DBS checked volunteers, will be available during Yizkor and the Concluding service, where some children’s activities will be provided. Parents remain responsible for their own children during use.’
